Why Indian Jews must NOT get ‘minority status’

Learn More About Noahidism & Noahide Law Here

The Jews of India have renewed their application for official minority status, hoping to get on par with India’s Christians and Muslims. Rabbi Ezekiel Isaac Malekar, the Delhi Jewish community’s head, told IANS that official recognition would make it easier for Jews to establish educational institutions and “practice and promote our culture.” [1] However, the Jews of India have already proven they have a conversion and anti-national agenda (via the Noahide movement) in India. This Jewish conversion and anti-national agenda is applied in India through the vectors of “educational institutions” and “promotion of culture” as Rabbi Malekar stated.  This movement must not be facilitated in India by providing Jews with “minority” status and should be actively resisted.

& Anti-Nationalism

“Jews Don’t Convert” = FALSE

The conversion agendas of Muslims and Christians are easy to spot because they use missionary tactics, trying to persuade Hindus to adopt the new religion.  Abrahamic conversion itself is detrimental to the community because it causes disintegration and internal conflict. Additionally, the anti-national undertone of Islam is readily apparent due to the legal system of Sharia which is embedded within the religion itself, a legal system which often conflicts with national laws. It is today a common false belief that Jews do not engage in conversions and so they are no threat to the Hindu population. Nor is it believed that Jews have any conflicting nation building agenda or legal system outside of Israel which would threaten Indian society. These assumptions are absolutely not true, however the conversion tactics of Jews and the implementation of their legal systems outside of Israel are much more subtle and indirect than are found in either Christianity or Islam, and so they are more difficult to detect.

Jews Convert Non-Jews To “Noahidism”, Not Judaism

Jews are rarely interested in converting Hindus to full Judaism, a privilege mostly reserved for Jews and Jews alone. However, according to Judaism there is a special diluted version of the Jewish religion which non-Jews are supposed to follow, it is called “Noahidism“, and a follower is called a “Noahide”. Noahide comes from the word “Noah”; Jews believe that all people of the earth, including Indian Hindus, are the descendants of a religious figure named Noah. Jews also believe that their god gave Noah commandments which he and all of his descendants are supposed to follow, including Indians and Hindus. The most apparent issue with the Noahide religion is that it is simply another form of Abrahamic Monotheism and has similar moral and social teachings to Judaism, Christianity and Islam which can conflict with Hindu society. For example Noahidism prohibits “idolatry” and “blasphemy” and when subjected to interpretation can become a powerful force for the condemnation of Hinduism. [2] [7][11][12] Abrahamic interpretations of what is considered “idolatry” and “blasphemy” as are found in Jewish texts such as the Torah and Talmud can hardly be called benign when referenced to a non-Abrahamic society.

Jews Are Converting Indians to The New Noahide Religion

Today, there are many Jewish organizations promoting the spread of the Abrahamic Noahide faith in India.  One group is known as Chabad which maintains a website called “Ask Noah” to teach non-Jews about the Noahide religion and also operates several houses in India. [3][4]. The Indian government has already expelled one Chabad affiliated Rabbi Bernstein under suspicion that he was using his premise in India for the purpose of conversion. [5] Another organization trying to spread the Noahide faith in India is the “Noahide World Center” which operates from Israel.  They have already established a Noahide congregation in Visakhapatnam, India and maintain a facebook page for Telugu speaking Noahides. [5][6] Finally, there is an unofficial body in Israel called the Sanhedrin which has inducted some Indian citizens to work at its behest to bring the Noahide religion to India. [7][8]. Please see the video below of the Noahide congregation established in Visakhapatnam.

Noahide Law Has Anti-National Elements (Courts of Justice)

rainbow_court1[1]

Just as Islamic religion has a legal aspect  (Sharia law) which can conflict with non-Islamic governments, so does the Noahide religion.  The Noahide religion contains something called “Noahide Law” or the “7 Noahide Laws” which non-Jews are supposed to follow. The 7th Law of the Noahide Laws is to establish courts of justice to uphold and enforce the Noahide Laws, such as the laws against idolatry and blasphemy. [9][10]. The positive commandment to set up courts to uphold and enforce the Noahide religion would put Noahidism in conflict with non-Noahide governments in a similar fashion to Islamic Sharia.  These Noahide courts would be operated by Noahide converts themselves, not necessarily Jews. Any positive commandment to set up religious based courts to uphold and enforce religious codes is an obvious threat to India’s national interests. There are currently movements within the United States to establish Noahide Law within the legal framework of the USA (see Public Law 102-14). [13]

Conclusion

Jews wish to obtain “minority” status in India which would provide them special protections and privileges, such as making any criticism of Jewish activities within India a highly sensitive issue legally. Jews are currently using educational institutions such as websites and worship houses as centers of conversion of Hindus and other Indians to the Noahide religion, a religions which like all Abrahamic faiths is often in conflict with Hinduism. Further, this Noahide faith has a legal component (Noahide Law) which contains positive commandments to set up courts to uphold and enforce the religious structures of Noahidism, an aspect of the religion which brings it in conflict with India’s national interests.  For these reasons, Judaism should not be provided minority status in India and all Hindus and Indians should publicly agitate to prevent this measure.
